Sir

I am very anxious

the U.S.Army as LieutLieutenant. I have

that there was no vacancy at
present. but my letter should
be put on file, and attended
to in proper time. I would
be very much obliged to you
if you would exercizeRegularized:exercise your
influences for me. I am not
totalyRegularized:totally ignorant of Military tack- tactics
tix, having graduated last
year at a Military school.
I am also of a good height
