This collection includes video recordings and transcripts of interviews with Houstonians who have made contributions to the LGBT community.
Ron Dupre is a father of three children, including two gay sons. He is active in Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG), the largest family and ally organization dedicated to advancing equality and uniting people who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) with families, friends, and allies. Together with his wife, Mary Jo, they have been active in raising awareness and a campaign against a ballot proposition to ban same-sex marriage in the Texas Constitution.
