This collection includes video recordings and transcripts of interviews with Houstonians who have made contributions to the LGBT community.
dc.description.abstract Dr. Janis Hutchinson is a professor in the Department of Anthropology at the University of Houston. She is a medicial anthropologist, specializing in health issues among peoples of color. She is the author of numerous journal articles and has been collecting oral histories in the African American community among African American lesbians.
