The USS Battleship Iowa, anchored just offshore in the Pacific Ocean. A number of small boats can be seen tied up alongside the battleship, along with two small airplanes in the process of being mounted towards the stern. In the distance beyond the bow a bridge can be seen. The Iowa was used for Naval Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (NROTC) summer school. Original resource is a black and white photograph.
