dc.description.abstract The purpose of this experiment was to find the pressure-volume-temperature relationships of the ternary system of carbon dioxide-nitrogen-n-heptane. Data were taken at pressures from 500 psia to 15,000 psia and temperatures from 100°F to 350°F. Concentrations were varied over the complete possible range of concentrations for all of the components. Also the apparent specific volumes of carbon dioxide and nitrogen in the liquid phase in a solution of n-heptane were obtained.
