dc.description.abstract The objectives of this research were: To study the solubilities of Methane in Ethylene Glycol from 82 degrees F to 220 degrees F for pressures up to 2,000 lbs. per sq. in. To study the vapor - liquid equilibria of the Ethylene Glycol - Methane - Hydrogen Sulfide system at 100 degrees F for pressures up to 1,000 lbs. per sq. in. To apply thermodynamic relations, including the utilization of P - V - T data of the Methane - Hydrogen Sulfide system, to predict the solubility of Methane and Hydrogen Sulfide in Ethylene Glycol.
