Student protest for faculty integration, Rice University
Four Rice students are protesting the lack of faculty diversity at Rice University. They are standing on a walkway in front of a large lawn, with buildings in the far distance, barely visible due to glare. Three of the students are holding handmade signs, two of which can be read in their entirety: “One whole Black professor / Give us another token, please”, and “Integration with segregation / brings about demonstration”. Original resource is a black and white photograph.
