Dr. Harold M. Hyman, of Rice University’s Department of History, being interviewed by Sarah Lowrey of Houston’s KPRC News. Hyman and Lowrey are seated at a table, along with cameraman Charles Scott. Also present are George Oser, Executive Director of the Southwest Center for Urban Research, and A. Neal Mangham, Jr., Rice University’s staff historian, as well as an unidentified man. There are a number of large books on the table at which the interview is taking place, and in the background one can see a card catalog, with a bust of Radoslav Tsanoff, a philosophy professor at the William M. Rice Institute. Several paintings and wall hangings, along with a wall clock, are also visible. Two camera lights have been set up on high stands to illuminate the room. Dr. Harold Hyman taught History at Rice from 1968 to 1997. He was the William P. Hobby Professor of History.
