Description
William M. Rice Institute's Wilbur Hess playing tennis. Hess, wearing a white short sleeved shirt, white shorts and white tennis shoes, is on the court, and appears to have just hit the tennis ball with a backhanded volley. The ball can be seen mid-air. In the background a number of out-of-focus spectators can be seen. Original resource is a black and white photograph.
