Panoramic view of the William M. Rice Institute’s May Fete held in 1925. The Royal Majesties of the May, Jack Glenn and Allie May Autrey, are seated in the center of a platform in front of a flowering hedge and are surrounded by various members of the ‘Royal Court’. The Queen is wearing a white dress with a long white train. The men are in formal attire and the women are in costume holding bouquets of flowers, some with parasols. There are four children seated on the steps leading up to the platform. Original resource is a sepia photograph.
