Postcard of Museum of Fine Arts, Houston
Postcard of the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston, Texas, built in 1924 by the architect William Ward Watkin. The postcard shows a portion of Main Street in the right foreground, with small trees along the sidewalk and several large ones on the expansive lawn in front of the building itself. The red shingles on the roof are reminiscent of Watkin’s architectural style on the William M. Rice Institute campus. Original resource is a color postcard.
