Downtown Houston, Texas
A busy street in downtown Houston, showing a trolley car, horse-drawn carriages, and pedestrians. Telegraph poles line one side of the street, and the facades of the buildings can be seen receding in the distance. Some of the storefronts have awnings, including that of the Levy Brothers Clothing Company, which also has a pennant flying from the rooftop. A barber’s pole can be seen on the street corner on the right-hand side. Original resource is a black and white photograph.
