The Music and Fine Arts reading room, situated on the third floor of Fondren Library. There are seven students, and faculty members seated throughout the room, among the diversity of chairs and couches, ranging from upholstered to rattan, arranged in groups around coffee tables, end tables, and a work table. Ashtrays can be seen on some of the tables and a tall reading lamp is in one corner of the room. One wall is lined with bookcases, there is a portrait hanging between the two tall windows, on which the venetian blinds are partially open, and a large bulletin board and wall clock can be seen on another wall. The rows of overhead lights can also be seen on the high ceilings. Original resource is a black and white photograph.
