Library in Chemistry Building, Rice Institute
Tebbs & Knell, Inc.
The library of the William M. Rice Institute’s Chemistry Building. Four long bookcases occupy the center of the room, with wooden tables and chairs in the foreground and along the left side, with another table next to an arched window in the distance, along with a smaller bookcase. There are six visible lamps suspended from the ceiling, three of them with ceiling fans. The bookcases appear to be anchored in place by overhead suspension cables. Original resource is a black and white photograph.
