1954 Houston Yacht Club Annual Regatta Trophy Presentation

Racers and spectators assembled on lawn as trophies are presented at the annual Regatta. In the background is the former men’s dormitory used as barracks by the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II. During the 1950s the building housed casual dining and youth activities. It was demolished before the remodeling of 1960.
