dc.description Dr. Gilbert Cuthbertson, professor in Rice University’s Department of Political Science, delivering a speech at a university function. He is wearing a dark suit and tie and is standing at a lectern. The heads of several audience members are in the foreground, and additional audience members are visible on the far side of the room. dc.description.abstract Dr. Gilbert Cuthbertson, also known as "Doc C," came to Rice in 1963 to teach Political Science. The following year he became a Resident Associate (RA) at Will Rice College. He is the longest serving RA at Rice University.
