Painting of Sid W. Richardson
The original painting hangs on the wall of the 1st floor lobby of Sid Richardson College on the Rice University campus. This scan was made to preserve the image in case of theft or damage. Sid W. Richardson was a Texas businessman, philanthropist, and art collector. After his death, the Sid Richardson Foundation donated money to Rice University, which funded the building of a new men's college.
