2nd floor room in the Physics Building, Rice Institute

A lab classroom on the second floor room of the Physics Building. There are six rows of tables with stools tucked underneath. There are a number of ceiling fans, with hanging lamps, all of which are lit. The floor is made of brick, and has a scuffed appearance. Photograph taken by Frank J. Schlueter. Construction of the Physics Building started in 1913 and was completed by 1915. This building was later renamed Herzstein Hall.
