While it is unclear if one of the people in the photograph is Clark Bruster, he was stationed in Chamonix from around February 1919 to March 1919. The images and objects in this collection chronicle the World War I experience of Clark Bruster and his mother, Cora Bruster. A veteran of World War I, Clark Bruster, was attached to the Military Police unit , 78th Field Artillery, served at Camp Logan, Houston, Texas, and overseas in France. He was a resident of Waverly, New York, the home of his family. Cora Bruster was a Red Cross nurse stationed at Sayre, Pennsylvania.
