Brown College vs. Baker College Powderpuff football, Rice University
Powderpuff football began as an official intercollegiate sport at Rice in 1965, shortly after Brown College was created. It started as match play between the all-girls colleges of Jones and Brown, and grew as more residential colleges on campus became co-ed.
Two Brown College players are attempting to block a player from Baker College during their first game of Powderpuff football. Spectators can be seen in the background sitting on the bleachers. Original resource is a black and white photograph.
