William Ward Watkin in Danville PA house
William Ward Watkin as a boy, sitting in a chair, with a book in his lap, looking at the camera. He is wearing a suit and bow-tie. Behind him are three tall narrow windows through which the light is pouring, and columns from the front porch can be seen. A painting is hanging on the wall on the left-hand side of the image, and the furnishings of the room include additional chairs, a number of small tables with plants, and a china cabinet with figurines and mirrored cabinet doors. The chair on which Watkin is seated appears to have a light-colored antimacassar over the backrest The photograph was taken in the Watkin family home in Danville, Pennsylvania. Original resource is a black and white photograph.
