HOOTS logo, Rice University
High Order of Tailgating Society, or HOOTS, was started by Rice University employees from the departments of Facilities & Engineering and Housing & Dining in 1999.
A bookmark, featuring a drawing of an owl, with “HOOTS” across its face, a letter ‘O’ superimposed on each of its eyes. On the bottom half of the bookmark is written "HOOTS: Because it's' a good thing when Rice sticks together. Strengthening Rice by Building Community." HOOTS is an acronym for the High Order of Tailgating Society. Original resource is a color bookmark.
