Carl Wischmeyer, Professor of Electrical Engineering, Rice University
Carl Wischmeyer, professor of electrical engineering and chair of the department from 1942 to 1945 and again from 1959 to 1961. He served as master of Baker College when it was founded in 1956. He relinquished that role in 1967 to become the first director of the newly established Office of Continuing Studies.
