dc.description Two members of the Elizabeth Baldwin Literary Society at the Casino Royale Party, one dressed in a naval captain’s uniform and cap and the other wearing a fisherman’s hat and yellow raincoat. Both are wearing sunglasses and holding toy machine guns and one of them is holding a small whistle in her mouth. They are posed in the driveway of a two-story house. Original photograph is a color photograph.
dc.description.abstract The Elizabeth Baldwin Literary Society (EBLS) was founded in 1914 and named in honor of the second Mrs. William Marsh Rice. It was an active organization until the mid 1980s.
