    Abstract
    Around 1951 the Rice Players formed with the help of Dr. Willard Thorpe after a reorganization of the Dramatic Club (1921-1951).
    Description
    A poster for the Rice Players production of Joe Orton’s play “What the butler saw”. The poster shows a black and white image of a pair of female legs wearing stiletto high heels with ankle-straps, with the four letters of the title appearing in red clockwise along the margins, one word per side, with ‘butler’ appearing upside down. Also included is information on the location, times, and a phone number for the box office. Original resource is a color poster.
