Rice Institute campus from the southeast, showing the parking lot directly in front of the Administration building, with the roadways leading back to Main Street, partially obscured by groves of trees on either side. From left to right the buildings shown are: the Institute Commons and East Hall, Cohen House, the Administration Building, the Physics Building, the Chemistry Building with the Mechanical Laboratories and the power plant on the right-hand side. The empty fields of the future campus stretch away in the upper portion of the image, and the surrounding residential neighborhoods can also be seen. Original resource is a black and white photograph.
