Elizabeth Baldwin Literary Society membership invitation, Rice University
The Elizabeth Baldwin Literary Society (EBLS) was founded in 1914 and named in honor of the second Mrs. William Marsh Rice. It was an active organization until the mid 1980s.
Handwritten letter from Nancy Degnan, the corresponding secretary, offering a membership invitation to the Elizabeth Baldwin Literary Society to someone named Diane. Letter is dated on February 22, 1955. The EBLS logo along with "Rice University" is printed at the top of the letter. Original resource is a scanned letter.
