A large unattended workspace in the William M. Rice Institute’s Abercrombie Engineering Laboratory. Work benches and tables, some with equipment on the surface or stored on the shelves line two sides of the long room. The large picture windows are uncurtained and sunlight fills the center aisle. The crossbeams along the ceiling appear to be made out of metal, with large lamps hanging down at intervals. below interior at Rice University, lighter space full with engineering machinery equipment.
