British Educational Mission visit to Rice Institute

On the invitation of the US Council of National Defense, the British government sent a mission to inquire into the means of encouraging closer cooperation between British and American educational institutions. Rice had the distinction of being the only institution west of the Mississippi River to receive a visit from the entire Mission.
