Description
A group photo of the William M. Rice Institute’s 1913 Rice Owls baseball team and coaching staff. The twelve players are arranged in three rows, seated on the ground, seated on chairs, and standing. The coaching staff are standing in the last row. The players are wearing their baseball uniforms and the coaching staff are wearing suits, one with a bow tie and the other with a necktie. Most of the players are holding baseball gloves and one is holding a baseball. Written in ink on the upper frame is “Elmer E. Shotts” with a line indicating one of the two coaching staff. “Edwards Studio 15'”is stamped on the photograph. The photograph is framed. Original resource is a black and white photograph.
