dc.description.abstract	Texxas World Music Festival or Texxas Jam was held in Houston at the Rice Stadium in July 1988. The 1988 festival was also called "The Monsters of Rock." The band lineup included: Van Halen, Scorpions, Dokken, Metallica, and Kingdom Come.
