dc.description.abstract A copy of the article from Lloyd’s List describing injury in World War I to Houston Yacht Club's 1937 Commodore, Harry Hilliard. His "breezy" description of his injury is as follows: "Aug. 19, 4:10 a.m. Somewhere in France. In collision with Fritz 5.9. Sustained sundry damage. Right eye carried away. Hole in starboard side of face."
