dc.description.abstract Flag raising ceremony during a Sea Scout Regatta at the Houston Yacht Club. Visible in the photograph is the Club’s first signal mast which was located in a grassy area on the south side of the property. The Sea Scouts are using a temporary signal mast for their ceremony.

dc.digitization.specifications Images were captured using the Epson Expression 10000XL flatbed scanner, Epson Scan software. Master Tiff images were scanned at 24-bit color or 8bit grayscale, 400 ppi for text, 600 ppi for images and other graphic materials.
