Sam Houston Park is the largest and best known in the city. It is named after the first governor, Sam Houston. Beautiful walks and drives, a large lake for sailing pleasure craft and a band stand in which concerts are given are a few of the attractions that make this resort popular. [From back of postcard]. This date was derived from the postmark.
