    Abstract
    Message on rector side reads: 7-1-11, Dear Aunt, It is quite hot in Houston but it is always that way as we do not have any cold weather in the winter. Hope you are all well love to all (signature illegible). Addressed to Mrs. J.B. Witters Ephrata Pa R.F.D. Postal date is July (date illegible) 8 -PM, 1911, Houston Tex.

    Verso side of postcard shows three story gray building with trees in front of porch area on street with words Christian Sanitarium, Houston Heights, Houston, Texas in red letters in upper left. Recto side shows a dated message and address written in ink, with a cancelled a one cent postage stamp.
