dc.description A manuscript written by Dr. B.A. Turner, who developed the Minority Manpower Resources Project (MMRP) in order to help recruit minority engineers to work at Johnson Spacecraft Center and, later, more companies.

He discusses his own background and experiences getting into the engineering field and his reasons for creating the Minority Manpower Resources Project, among other topics.
