dc.description.abstract Panoramic view of Brays Bayou featuring several yachts of the Houston Launch Club. Milby Dow’s Great Lakes cruiser Ranger is second from left. The large dark hulled yacht in the center was at one time thought to be as C. G. Pillot’s Augusta; however, the Augusta was never known to have a dark hull. The boat is possibly the Russara, which at one time had a dark hull. The Russara was owned first by Bryan Heard, and later by John Bonner.
