Abstract
Digitization projects dealing with historical archives have altered the manner in which we access, search for, define, and interact with literature. New technologies hybridize historical documents and change the way archival research is conducted. The digitization of the book “Las mujeres españolas, portuguesas y americanas” (1876) for the Our Americas Archive Partnership (OAAP) highlights the way in which such technology can enhance the study of texts and accent their hemispheric and textual multiplicity.
