dc.description.abstract The system of a poroelastic solid with two pore fluids subject to a certain class of boundary-initial conditions is analyzed. Inertial and capillary effects are retained. A general solution by means of a Green's function is obtained for the system in one space variable. The material properties necessary to valuate the solution are examined, and the solution is applied to the case where there is a sinusoidaly varying boundary condition. Results are shown for the system near resonance.
