Abstract

A multi-week incident occurred in Spring 1970 after the Student Center Board invited Abbie Hoffman to speak at an event, but were forced by the administration to rescind the invitation. While this occurred, there were bomb threats, the Dean of Students office was set on fire, students protested, and students occupied Allen Center.
