Study of a relativistic wave equation describing spin 1/2 bosons.

This is a study of a proposed new relativistic wave equation describing spin-1/2 particles. Its consistency and validity are studied by comparison with the Dirac and Sakata-Taketani equations. Our research indicates that the new equation, the Guertin-Guth equation, is consistent in the free particle case but problems arise when electromagnetic fields are introduced in the conventional manner.
