Title:	Rice Institute Athletic Council
Abstract:	Excerpted text: "The Committee on Outdoor Sports, better known as the Athletic Council, was comprised of three members of the faculty and two alumni representatives of the "R" Association during the past year. William Ward Watkin, H.K. Humphrey and H.E. Bray were the faculty members of the Council, and Dudley Jarvis and LeRoy Bell served as "R" Association representatives." Coaches featured include John W. Heisman (Football), Ernie Hjertberg (Track), F.D. Ashcraft (Basketball, Golf and Tumbling), Joe Bedenk (Baseball), Bill Hale (Freshman Football), and H.O. Nicholas (Freshman Baseball).
