"Yngling" is the Swedish word for "youthful." Thus, the boat was designed as a racing boat for those who did not want to struggle with the larger and more demanding Soling class. The 1975 Yngling North American Championship was held at HYC. However, the boats were discontinued in the late 1970s and the Yngling fleet died. |
