Description: The Sea Scout troop was originally organized at the Houston Yacht Club in 1922 by the Hamilton family. In 1939, the troop was revived and sponsored by the Houston Yacht Club. David Red, a young architect just graduated from Rice University, served as their scoutmaster. The young men wore work uniforms of striped shirts and blue trousers.
