dc.description.abstract This document establishes a donation of 1,000 pesos for the dowries of two orphaned maidens, per year. It specifies that each maiden is to receive 500 pesos and that this money is to be administered by the St. Agustin of Our Lady of Grace Monastery. The funding for the dowries is to come from the leases paid by various persons on property owned by Diego Alvarez. The names of the persons paying these leases and the amount they are charged is listed in the document. In addition, the document describes the manner in which these maidens should be selected, their order of preference, and the qualities and conditions that must be met to qualify for the dowry.

Master Tiff images were scanned at 24-bit color, adobeRGB1998 color profile, at 600 dpi for graphically intense images and 400 dpi for text.
