Title: Abstraction and reinterpretation in architecture
Author: Xu, Feng
Degree: Master of Architecture thesis
Abstract: Design is a process of abstraction and reinterpretation of the world. Not only the physical world, but also the mental world. They are being abstracted, processed, transformed and reinterpreted in the design. The purpose of design can be understood as figuring out a new way to integrate the characters of the world. Our new understanding of the transitory world constantly requires the new integrity of the artificial world.
