				<p>I, Thomas Overton Moore of Louisiana<lb /> do solemnly swear in presence of
					Almighty<lb /> God, that I will henceforth faithfully support<lb /> and defend
					the constitution of the United States<lb /> of America, and the Union of the
					States there<del rend="overstrike"> in</del> under<lb /> and that I will in like
					manner abide by and<lb /> faithfully support all laws and
					proclamations<lb />which have been made during the existing<lb />rebellion with
					reference to the emancipation<lb /> of slaves. So Help me God.</p>
